After 20 hours observation

As I observe my resource teacher in 20 hours observation for my field study six and it’s my last observation in my field to be a future educator. As I observe her in my first hour she is a good facilitator to the students she also an effective teacher to the students as I observe to her, because she is a good teacher to the learners she is good in subject matter she always elaborate the lessons and she will explain many times the lesson so that the students will understand the topic and also my resource teacher wanted her students to be a good individual in society and good students she is not only the teacher wanted to be a good in subject matter to the students she is also wanted to be develop the students the right attitude, character and many more to the students. As I finish my observation there is no change the way she delivered the lessons and the way to discipline the students.

Child Protection Policy

In Child Protection policy in Holy Angel University first we have the security guard to protect the students. Students are not allowed to go out inside the campus when they have a class for the safety of the students in elementary, junior high school, and senior high school.

While inside the classroom the students have a comfort, room passed when the student will go outside for the safety of the students and the learners will come again inside the classroom.

As we can see in the picture quotation says that “Children deserve a good education and good health. Immunization requirements help protect both.” Means we as a future educator we will protect our students by implementing rules and regulation in the classroom. As a teacher also give them a good education because they deserved to educate and teach them.

In my resource teacher she implements rules and regulation for the safety and child protection of the students. Also, they teach the students by being a good individual to their classmates and many more.

        Effective teachers strive to motivate and engage all their students in learning rather than simply accepting that some students cannot be engaged and are destined to do poorly.

       They believe every student can achieve success at school and they do all they can to find ways of making each student successful. Effective teachers have high expectations of students in terms of both their standard of learning and their behavior, and they help their students meet those expectations. They also have high expectations of themselves and their own learning.

Effective teachers personalize the learning for their students. They understand that students develop at different rates and that in every classroom there will be a range of student abilities and attitudes. They accommodate the different needs of students in their class rather than pitch their teaching to the middle, letting some students be bored while others struggle or are unable to do the work.

Effective teachers use techniques that have each student working on tasks that engage and challenge them to achieve their personal best. They understand that students learn best when they are presented with new material in a way that enables them to connect it to what they already understand and know how to do.

Effective teachers also understand that students learn best if their culture, background and abilities are acknowledged by the teacher in the way they teach.

                                                     

Teacher as a Model of Values

              

               

    As a teacher is not only about what we teach to the students, its also we teach them in  good character, proper attitude to the students or proper behavior and values to the students. The  students spend a lot of time in their school they can gained a lot of knowledge, experiences, and different perspective in life in their classmate's and also to their different teacher in their different subjects.

    As a values educator the students will expect to much to us because we are a values teacher or a "Christian Living Education" teacher or "Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao" teacher because they see you as a role model, good attitude or behavior, and character. As a students see that to us and expected to us we must be careful in what we say and in our actions. As teaching the subject we must go first in our self before teaching the students a proper attitude, character and etc. How the students will respect you if we are not a good example to them, so that do our best to be a good teacher to our students.
    As I observe my resource teacher she is a good example to her students, she's not only teaching the subject matter she also teaching the students to be a good students in home, school, community and etc. In terms of discussion of the subject matter she is indicating the experiences of the students and giving example in a positive ways and also she relating the lesson to the students to be a good.

    As I observe her I gained a lot of knowledge to her interms of subject matter and strategies to teach the students in relating the lesson into life beacuse the subject is Christian Livimg Education its also about the gospel and its also about in the bible every lesson that my resource teach she is giving an experience related to the students so that the lesson will couth the students.

Philosophy of Education

          I assigned in Holy Angel University for my field study six. This school is familiar for me as I studying here and it’s not also my first time in my observation here at Holy Angel University this my second semester that I assigned here at HAU and also my resource teacher is familiar and I already know her also because my field study four and five she was my resource teacher.

          As I observed her the way she teach to the students I can already know her philosophy of her education she is progressivism in teaching Christian living education or CLE subject to the junior high school every lesson that she was discuss is emphasizing the real world and individual growth or development of her students. She also inspired the students to do good to be a good role model in our community and society.

          In field study is our experiences to the different school that we observed and we gained knowledge to our resource teacher to that we need to use in our future as a educators.

         

Holy Angel University: An Educational System

Holy Angel University is a private Roman Catholic research university in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. The school has kindergarten, college and masteral degree of difference courses that available at Holy Angel University. This school is very good in facility that students needed like books and many more. Indeed school has five core values are first Christ centeredness meaning we strive to be witness of the person and example of Christ, second integrity we are fair, honest and transparent in our personal and professional dealings, third excellence we produce outcomes with the greatest possible human competence, fourth community we animate the spirit of communication and solidarity, lastly societal responsibility we work for economic efficiency, social justice and environmental stewardship. This core value of HAU is very good and indeed in the school as we can see it. As we observed and also as Im studying here at Holy Angel University you can see the very good side of the school in terms of the facility and teaching of the professor and the school also. The school has strategic objectives first academic quality and organizational excellent, second authentic instrument for countryside development, third great university work for, lastly faithful catholic education. This school know how to handle the students through his or her academics by giving them enough knowledgeable in terms of their choosing profession and how the students will growth. As we can see and understand the mission and vision of the school they being so great and doing so to the students that what the students deserve like quality of education here at HAU.   

Orientation in observation

        In our orientation in Sto. Domingo Integrated School they welcome  me and my fellow observer in the school of Sto. Domingo Integrated School. The Principle said if we something or someone that we don't want in what we observe or see in their school it must be a learning to us and don’t discriminate their school in that problem and it also said in our future don't do what is wrong in what we observe but we must learned what is good and right to our future school, students and also as a future teacher and the Principle said get what is right, and good in the school and to our resource teacher so that we must be prepared to our future as a educators to our students.
       This what the Principle said in our orientation that's why the orientation is important to remind us what we need to do and remind us what is right and good. 
      This my first time to observe in Sto. Domingo Integrated School I'm excited to observe because it's another learning to gained to my resources teacher and to the students.
