The effective teacher (Part I)

Name: Pangilinan, Krislene Anne G.
Section and Major: 403/4VE
Title: The effective teacher by Harry Wong
Place and date: 06/25/18

The movie entitled "the effective teacher" this movies is play by part and we watch the first part, "the first day of school and the class" by Harry Wong. The teacher believes in the learner and that the students can learn if the teacher is effective. However the facilitator is effective in teaching we can learned. Teacher must be positive that every student must be learned and as a teacher in the future we need to do are best to be an effective teacher to the students and also as a facilitator in the future I want to live a legacy to my future learner's. This is the important as teaching to the students we must have a classroom management when we are teaching so that the students will listen at the same time they learned this is practices and procedures that a teacher uses to maintain an environment in which instruction and learning can occur.

Determine the learning style of your students. Student achievement is greater when the teaching style matches the learning style. Each facilitator have a difference learning style in how we teach, how we learned, how to facilitate, how to manage the class and etc. Every teacher has unique ideas to teach their students it depends to them if it is effective to the learners. In the professional growth teachers will participate in professional learning opportunities, as an individual, team or professional learning community, and or as collective ideas to the others which promote professional growth and development that connects to student learning. The personal growth of teaching we must build a self confidence in teaching we face a lot of people and we can talk in front of them of course we need to have a self confidence when we talk to them and also the personal growth is to master the subject what we teach to the learners how can we teach if we do not know how we teach my professor said we cannot give what we do not have.

The effective teacher affect lives great teachers can change the lives of their students in many ways, that a great teacher can change a student’s life. It is not always easy to change a student’s life, which is why it takes a great teacher to do so. Some just need an extra push like the student whose math grade is just a few points shy from the A that will give them, the teacher will follow up the student Whatever the student needs to help them excel, a life-changing teacher will be there for them. This is the value of the teacher, who looks at a face and says there's something behind that and I want to reach that person, I want to influence that person, I want to encourage that person, I want to enrich, I want to call out that person who is behind that face, behind that color, behind that language, behind that tradition, behind that culture. I believe you can do it. I know what was done for me.

Each teacher has their particular style but then so do most students. The problems develop when teachers and students don’t match. You may have noticed that even your own children learn differently than you do causing you to question why they’re not as interested or not “catching on” the same way you did at their age. My Ideal Teacher When I think about teachers that I have had in the past, several different ones come to my mind. Each of these educators stands out in my mind for a variety of diverse reasons. Whether it is their sense of humor, their tactfulness, their love of the subject matter, their fanatical

Professional development is a mandatory component of being a teacher.  Every state requires teachers to earn a certain number of professional development hours each year. Great professional development can be critical to the overall development of a teacher. Teachers are presented with professional development opportunities covering varying topics throughout the course of each year. Great teachers recognize their weaknesses and attend professional development workshops/conferences to improve these areas. Many teachers commit a portion of their summer to attending professional development workshops/conferences. Workshops/conferences also provide teachers with invaluable networking opportunities that can further enhance their overall growth and improvement.

Experience is perhaps the greatest teacher. No amount of training can truly prepare you for the adversity that a teacher can face in the real world. First year teachers often wonder what they have gotten themselves into over the course of that first year. It can be frustrating and disheartening, but it does become easier. A classroom is a laboratory and teachers are chemists constantly tinkering, experimenting, and mixing things up until they find the right combination that works for them.

My hopes and dreams is to be a  teacher and to hold a Masters degree as a  profession teacher. As a future teacher, being able to shape the lives of my future students. I desired to be a teacher that provides my students with an enjoyable education experience in class and also they will learned. Being a values teacher I believe that I will mold the students in good way. I want to emphasize the importance of what they are going to learn so that they can value the knowledge. Although  I'm an values education teacher, I want to be a teacher that my students can relate to in every aspects of their life. I want to be a teacher that has enough knowledge about everything, so that my students can look for me for an advice. I also wanted to be a teacher that manages to shape the mentality of my students into a better one. By educating the next generation in terms of moral and in their mentality, it is my hope that I am able to achieve enough to make a difference not only in the lives of the students in my classes at that particular time, but also to impact their lives far into the future, and as a result make the future of our country a better place.
